Phacelia ramosissima (common name: branching phacelia)

Range: Western N. America
Habitat: Rocky, occasionally wet, soils, usually in coastal habitats, from sea level to elevations of 3000 metres[1].
Edibility: Leaves - cooked and used as greens[2].
Medicinal: The roots are emetic[2]. A decoction has been taken to clear a bad stomach and also as a treatment for gonorrhoea[2].
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
Flower Type: Hermaphrodite
