Sugar

Sugar is a general term for many sweet tasting molecules made from carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Some types of sugar include:

• Sucrose - Also called table sugar. A white powdery crystal used in cooking. Primarily extracted from sugar beets or sugar cane.
