Sonchus tenerrimus

Propagation: Seed - sow spring in situ.

Cultivation: We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will succeed in Britain, though judging by its native range it could succeed outdoors at least in the milder parts of the country. The following notes are based on the general needs of the genus.

Succeeds in most soils in a sunny position.

Range: S. Europe - Italy.

Edibility: Leaves - raw[1][2]. Used in salads[3].

Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
