Medicinal: The entire plant is used in Tibetan medicine, it is said to have a sweet and astringent taste with a heating potency[1]. Analgesic and diuretic, it is used in the treatment of retained or accumulated fluids in the body, difficulty in micturation, breathlessness, inflammation of the bone/marrow, pain from inflammation and accumulation of serous fluids[1].
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
