Myriactis nepalensis
Propagation: Seed - sow spring in sheltered conditions and plant out in late spring. If sufficient seed is available then the seed can probably be sown outdoors in situ in the spring[K].
Cultivation: We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will be hardy in Britain. However, judging by its native range, it is likely to succeed outdoors in many areas of the country.
Range: E. Asia - Himalayas.
Habitat: Open places along trails and as a weed of cultivated ground at elevations of 1400 - 3900 metres in Nepal[1].
Edibility: Leaves and young shoots - cooked[2][3].
The roasted fruits are pickled[1].
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
Flower Type: Hermaphrodite
