Cultivation: Requires cool greenhouse treatment in Britain[1], though it is growing successfully outdoor at Tresco on the Isles of Scilly.

Range: Australia - Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania.
Habitat: Usually found in sandy soils near the coast to elevations of 1200 metres[2][3].
Usage: Wood - hard, light and close-grained. Used for making tool handles etc[2].
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
Flower Type: Hermaphrodite
