Cultivation: We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will succeed outdoors in Britain, though judging by its native range it is likely to succeed outdoors at least in the milder areas of the country. It is likely to require at least some shade and a humid atmosphere.
Range: E. Asia - China.
Habitat: Shady and damp rock cliffs[1].
Medicinal: Antitussive, depurative and febrifuge[1].
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
Flower Type: Hermaphrodite
