Hypochoeris apargioides
Propagation: Seed - sow spring in a cold frame and only just cover the seed. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in the summer.
Cultivation: We have almost no information on this species and do not know if it will be hardy in this country, nor do we know its cultivation needs.
Range: S. America - Chile.
Edibility: Root - cooked[1][2]. It is used in similar ways to scorzonera[3].
Pollinators: Bees, flies
Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.
Flower Type: Hermaphrodite
