Chorispora sabulosa

Propagation: Seed - we have no information on this species but would suggest sowing the seed in early spring in a greenhouse. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and grow them on in a greenhouse for at least their first winter. Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer, after the last expected frosts.

Cultivation: Succeeds in ordinary garden soil[1].

Range: E. Asia - Himalayas.

Habitat: Stony slopes, usually in dry areas, up to 5000 metres[2].

Edibility: Fruit[2]. No more details are given.

Pollinators: Insects

Soil: Can grow in light, medium, and heavy soils.

Seed Ripens: Early Summer-Mid Summer

Flower Type: Hermaphrodite

Also Known As: C. elegans sabulosa.
